JobTrain Instructor Profile

Why Teaching Matters to Laborers Instructor Juan Gutierrez

"I teach because I am passionate about sharing knowledge. It's imperative that our future generation is prepared with the requisite skills to succeed.

Skilled labor, in my opinion, is more valuable than off-labor. I love teaching at JobTrain and believe in each and every one of my students. They learn the industry standard from an instructor that brings two decades of practical experience, and attributes that will help them to become disciplined, detail-oriented and focused.
It's my honor to teach the next generation of future apprentice builders." - Juan Gutierrez

JobTrain Student: Jehad Qatesh Earns CNA License!

When Jehad Qatesh arrived in the United States two years ago, she was unable to speak a word of English. She learned to speak the language by reading newspapers and committing to learn 200-300 words per week using Google Translator.

Jehad learned about JobTrain through her husband, who works as a taxi driver. When Jehad expressed interest in becoming a medical professional, her husband encouraged her to make an appointment at JobTrain. He had recently dropped a student off at JobTrain and inquired about the organization and quickly learned about its quality and free vocational training programs.

Jehad was amazed by the educational experience and excelled at her studies. She graduated with her CNA license and is now working at Sunrise Senior Living, located in Palo Alto. Her ultimate dream is to become a Professional Health Care Worker instructor at JobTrain.

"JobTrain is the best place to start your life and find your purpose. I am proof that JobTrain works, and that it will work for you too, if you give it a try. Thank you, JobTrain," said Jehad.

Please be sure to subscribe to JobTrain's YouTube channel and you'll able to watch all the inspirational interviews of our amazing students! Please click HERE to listen to Jehad's special message for you.
